Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a free, anonymous fellowship of people who help each other stay sober. San Diego Central Office maintains the meeting schedule for hundreds of weekly meetings across the county — in-person, online, women's meetings, beginners' meetings, speaker meetings, and more. Open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking.

AA has been quietly saving lives in San Diego since 1944. We list it here because part of building a real community means pointing people to the rooms that have been doing the work for 80+ years. If you or someone you love is struggling with alcohol, the Central Office answers the phone 24/7. There is a meeting happening within the hour, somewhere in this county, and a chair already waiting.
